Multiwave was established by its founders after more than 15 years of focused R&D efforts in optoelectronics, lasers and fiber optics in Portugal. The team includes highly experienced PhD and MSc level physicists and engineers.

Multiwave develops advanced world-class products based on state-of-the-art fiber optic technologies, including specialized modules, fiber based optical sources and optical sensing solutions, and commercializes them in international markets.

Multiwave´s Advisory Board is composed of some of the highest reputation world-class specialists in fiber optics, lasers and optics.

Multiwave has a state-of-the-art equipped facility with 500m2, including a class 10K clean room for component fabrication and packaging, as well as facilities for electronics prototyping, integration & test.
